Informal conference with Pr. Dai Bingran
It is with great pleasure that Trait d’Union and Visions d'Europe will welcome Professor Dai Bingran on Thursday 22 October, from 12.10 to 1pm, in room B.4-15. Dai Bingran will be intervening on the following topic: “Overcoming differences in the sino-european partnership”. The conference will be an informal one, during which Pr. Dai Bingran will give students a few elements about the sino-european partnership and its challenges, and will then welcome questions and debate.
Professor Dai Bingran, who received the academic Jean Monnet Prize in 2008, holds the Jean Monnet chair at the Fudan University in Shangai. He is a key actor in the promotion of the study of the European Union in China. He was for instance the first person to translate the European Community treaties into Chinese. He is also the President of the Shangai Institute for European Studies.
